Nevzat Sayın Seminar

A seminar was held by NEVZAT SAYIN, one of the peer architects of Turkey on 24th April 2008 in the Faculty of Architecture, within the Career Days of Eastern Mediterranean University. Among his many successful projects he has explained two different projects with different approaches. One of the projects was a renovation project of a factory from mid 60’s into a publishing office in Istanbul and the second one was the products of a summer school about the regeneration of a rural settlement in Ayvacik. He had long conversations and technical trips with the students of Faculty of Architecture. Nevzat Sayin is one of the famous minimalist architects in Turkey who was nominated for Aga Khan Architecture Awards and won prizes from the Architects Association for the projects he carried out in Ürgüp and Tekirdag. He has several architectural writings and published books amongst one named Düsler, Düsüncele , Isler.
