Inar 492 Midterm Jury

2009-2010 Fall

Department of Interior Architecture-Graduation Project’s Midterm Jury has been held on 4th December 2009. There were 2 valuable invited jury members at the jury Sezgi Tamkan and Kagan Varoglum. Sezgi Tamkan is an architect who worked at Istanbul for 6 years and made interior designs of one of the famous brands in Turkey- Park Bravo. Kagan Varoglum is an interior architect who have several design experiences at different companies and countries. He has got Master Degree recently from Politechnico di Milano and also work as an interior architect at Milano.

Inar 492 Mezuniyet Projeleri Güz Dönemi Ara-Dönem Jurisi

İç Mimarlık Bölümü-Güz Dönemi Mezuniyet Projeleri Ara Dönem Jürisi 4 Aralık 2009-Cuma günü yapıldı. Jüriye alanlarında başarılı çalışmaları bulunan 2 davetli jüri üyesi Sezgi Tamkan ve Kağan Varoğlum da değerlendirmeleri ile katkı koydu.  Mimar Sezgi Tamkan İstanbul’da Türkiye’nin tanınmış markalarından birisi olan Park Bravo’nun iç mekan tasarımlarına hayat veren bir tasarımcıdır. İç Mimar Kağan Varoğlum farklı ülkelerde iç mimarlık alanında çalışma deneyimi olan ve yakın zamanda Milano’da Politecnico di Milano’da master eğitimi almış ve aynı zamanda Milano’da iç mimarlık alanında çalışmalar yapmış bir tasarımcıdır.

Nevzat Sayın Seminar

A seminar was held by NEVZAT SAYIN, one of the peer architects of Turkey on 24th April 2008 in the Faculty of Architecture, within the Career Days of Eastern Mediterranean University. Among his many successful projects he has explained two different projects with different approaches. One of the projects was a renovation project of a factory from mid 60’s into a publishing office in Istanbul and the second one was the products of a summer school about the regeneration of a rural settlement in Ayvacik. He had long conversations and technical trips with the students of Faculty of Architecture. Nevzat Sayin is one of the famous minimalist architects in Turkey who was nominated for Aga Khan Architecture Awards and won prizes from the Architects Association for the projects he carried out in Ürgüp and Tekirdag. He has several architectural writings and published books amongst one named Düsler, Düsüncele , Isler.
